- Featuring hot-spring baths and a Japanese garden, the completely non-smoking Yufuin Onsen Hasuwa Inn Ryokan is just 50 metres from the picturesque Oita River. Free-use bicycles are offered. Small dogs can stay, for a fee.
- The air-conditioned Japanese rooms at Yufuin Onsen Hasuwa Inn have tatami (woven-straw) floors and traditional futon beds. Each room comes with a tea maker, fridge and attached toilet. Bathrooms are shared.
- JR Yufuin Train Station is 800 metres from ryokan Yufuin Onsen Hasuwa Inn. Ogosha Shrine, Kinrinko Lake and the Mark Chagall Museum are all 2 km away.
