行程介绍

Japan's first Yokai museum opens in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture In addition to the Ino Mononoke Roku, a Yokai tale set in Miyoshi during the Edo period, the museum exhibits a carefully selected collection of around 5,000 Yokai-related materials, including picture scrolls, Nishiki-e woodblock paintings, ceramics, etc. These were donated by folklorist and Yokai researcher Koichi Yumoto and are highly regarded as one of the largest Yokai collections in Japan. The museum is large enough to accommodate up to 100 visitors. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult. The museum is not only a place where visitors can appreciate folklore through special exhibits, but also a place where adults and children alike can enjoy the Yokai Park, planned by TeamLab. Playing with people and yokai in a virtual space will help foster creativity, pattern recognition, logical thinking, understanding of gravity, respect for diversity and a sense of self-efficacy.
