[长野] Hiking to Visit the Unexplored Maki Village

• ― Japan's original landscape and satoyama life coming back to life ―
• It's about an hour and a half on foot from the foot. You can't reach the village called “Maki” by car. This settlement is in Otari village, Nagano prefecture. There are the original landscape of Japan, where houses with thatched roofs still remain.
• We walk slowly along the mountain path with Kawasaki from Mingaya Collective as our guide, heading towards Maki village. Once we arrive at the village, we spend some time relaxing with a lunch of local seasonal ingredients and a stroll.
• In the past, this village was abandoned when the branch school closed, but now people are once again living and living. Why don't you experience a memorable and special moment where nature and human activities interweave?

Your guide will be waiting for you at Minami-Otari Station. After the meeting, you will walk to Maki village. In the village, you will have lunch and a stroll before descending the mountain and returning to Minami-Otari Station.
