- 活动概要
-
- I am deeply fascinated by Japanese culture, particularly the rich history of Kamakura, where the traditions of Zen are still very much alive.
- I earned my MBA in the United States and, as a businessman working for a multinational company, I have traveled to over 20 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia. Through these experiences, I encountered diverse cultures and breathtaking natural landscapes. Yet, what truly resonated with me was the profound depth and beauty of my homeland, Japan.
- After learning the proper etiquette for visiting a Shinto shrine at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, we will explore the major Zen temples of the Rinzai sect. At Kencho-ji, you will have the opportunity to engage in Zazen (Zen meditation), allowing you to experience the deep essence of Zen culture.
- I look forward to creating unforgettable memories with you on this journey of cultural discovery.

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine founded in 1180 by Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder of the Kamakura shogunate. It was revered as the guardian deity of samurai warriors. The shrine features a vermilion-painted main hall, a beautiful approach, and two ponds named Genji-ike and Heike-ike. Visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and colorful foliage in autumn. Guides will teach you the proper way to worship at the shrine, so please try it out. They will also introduce the best spots for photography.
