- It is a long-established shop that catered sweets to the Emperor's family, the Tokugawa Shogunate, and temples and shrines.
- The store opened in Ginza to accompany Emperor Meiji during the capital's transition to the Meiji era.
- In the café space modernized with bamboo, participants will make Nerikiri, which is called the art of confectionery.
- The instructor is Yoshi Higuchi, the 13th-generation owner of a Japanese confectionery store with over 400 years of history and tradition.
- After making beautiful wagashi, enjoy them with matcha (powdered green tea) prepared by Master Yoshi.
- You are invited to try your hand at edible art incorporating the history of wagashi, ingredients, and motifs of the four seasons.
- Remember to take a picture before eating!
