First time making sushi? No problem! Join us in Kyoto for a hands-on class where tradition meets art. Create decorative sushi rolls with seasonal and Kyoto-inspired designs that change throughout the year. We’ll begin with a short introduction to Kyoto’s history and Japanese cuisine, including the origin of decorative sushi. Then, learn about key tools and ingredients—sushi rice, seaweed, bamboo mats—and the concept of “cooking with all five senses.” In the hands-on part, you’ll make a peach blossom-themed roll while learning how to combine ingredients, choose colors, and form beautiful patterns. Enjoy a relaxing, cultural experience in a warm, traditional setting. Visitors from around the world are warmly welcomed!
