- Tamba-ware Pottery, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, originated in Tachikui, Tamba Sasayama. The symbolic "climbing kiln" as a historical remain was used for firing ceramics for three days and nights at 1,300°C (1,300°F). With over 50 kilns in the area, local pottery artists work together to inspire a diverse range of styles from traditional crafts to innovative pieces.
- Meet your English-speaking guide outside Aino Station and transfer to the Tamba Sasayama area.
