In 2013, "washoku" was registered as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Ten years have passed since then. The special exhibition "Washoku - Japanese Nature, People's Wisdom", which started at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo and has been touring the country, is coming to Kyoto, the home of washoku.
