- You can thoroughly enjoy the must-see highlights and famous photo-spots in Nippori area during this walking tour. We’ll start at Yanaka Cemetery, where lie the so-called creators of Japanese history-Yoshinobu Tokugawa and Eiichi Shibusawa. You’ll be able to feel the atmosphere of ancient Japan as if you’ve taken a time machine and travel back to 200 years ago.
- And you will pass by an old-timey shopping street, which was created after the end of the Second World War but still remains today. It’s a good place to discover little cute Japanese-style souvenirs.
- Then you can learn about the culture of Japan's Edo period at Nezu Shrine, which is famous for its red torii gates. The red torii gates in shrine were believed to be the door connecting the divine world and the human world and it can be seen in lots of Japanese anime, movies and drama. At last, when you are on the way to Suwa Shrine, you’ll pass by a spot where you can see Mt.Fuji if the weather is nice.
