• Arakurayama, known even overseas as one of Japan's most scenic spots, offers, above all, Mt. Fuji, the five-story pagoda, and nature. From the top of the Kawaguchiko Ropeway, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt.Fuji.
• The ropeway is reasonably priced at 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children for a round trip. If you have time to spare, stop by the roadside station.

Chūreitō is a cenotaph for the war dead, located halfway up Mount Arakurayama in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The area around the Chūreitō is maintained as Arakurayama Sengen Park, which is managed by the city of Fujiyoshida.
