- If hippies ran Tokyo it would probably look a lot like Shimokitazawa.With one of our hosts by your side, explore tangles of tiny alleyways filled with vintage stores, second hand bookshops and bric a brac dens. Whether you’d like to get an Antipodean coffee and look at the vivacious street art or shop for unbranded clothing and vinyl, the day is up to you! Grab a bite to eat at a nearby soba shop or izakaya (traditional bar) or try the Shimokitazawa Cage, a community space with a revolving parade of food trucks. Shimokitazawa is waiting for you! Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do
