- This tour visits Mt. Mitake, located about 90 minutes by train from central Tokyo. Situated at the summit of Mt. Mitake, the Musashi Mitake Shrine is known as an important place for mountain worship.
- The tour also visits the Rock Garden, a place near the summit where visitors can enjoy the natural scenery. The tour is accompanied by a Mitake adventure travel guide (English-speaking tour conductor) who knows a lot about Mt. Mitake. Mt. Mitake rises 929 meters above sea level. Take the cable car round trip from about halfway up the mountain to the top station situated at an altitude of 831 meters. As this tour does not include authentic mountain climbing, even those who don't have mountain climbing experience may participate. Walking distance is approximately 10 km. While this course is for beginners, there are hundreds of stone steps, slopes, and mossy paths on the course, so please participate wearing clothes easy to walk in and non-slip shoes, and use a backpack.
