In the fall of 2024, the international art festival "The Forest Festival of the Arts Okayama: Clear-skies Country" will be held in northern part of the Okayama Prefecture. This art festival aims to use the power of art to revitalize the future through the "blessings" brought by "forests", and at the same time raising the question "What is truly necessary capital?" On the premise that cultural facilities such as art museums, memorial halls, and schools, as well as basic living facilities that provide water, power, and food, and the natural environment are regarded as common capital, the festival collaborates with not only artists, but also architects, scientists, folklorists another other experts to work with local people to create "new capital". Art reflects different ideas, resonates with people, and cultivates people's imagination and perspectives of new worlds. It brings "surprise", "movement", "excitement", "inspiration", "joy of life" and "fulfillment from deep thinking and contemplation".
