Located in Kuramae, Tokyo, this small, family-run guest house is located in a wooden home that shows the hard work and dedication that went into its renovations.
This hostel was once the home of a carpenter, and the ceilings of the first floor where he once had his workshop soar up 4 meters in height. The family who owns the hostel have put almost a whole year into refurbishing this old wooden house. In keeping the same atmosphere as the old workshop, the public room retains its earthen floor, and rare for building in central Tokyo, it faces into a garden with a view of the tip of Skytree on sunny days.
For your comfort and enjoyment, the floors and the furniture in the guest rooms are made of pure, natural wood. Everyone is welcome to come and stay in this cozy little place – a hostel that’s a little nostalgic, and a little new, too.
