Coredo Muromachi is a place where the traditional and the new merge. It includes a variety of facilities such as stores, restaurants and movie theaters.
Coredo Muromachi consists of three buildings. There are many shops and facilities such as historic Nihonbashi stores, famous stores with a more modern style, a movie theater and rental space. In Coredo Muromachi 1, which has a commercial area that reminds one of the bustle of the Edo era, there is one of the largest multipurpose halls in the Nihonbashi area. In Coredo Muromachi 2, you can find exceptional items from around Japan, including some sold in stores that have been in business for over 100 years. There is also a movie theater with the most state-of-the-art equipment in Nihonbashi. Coredo Muromachi 3 is a good place to relax with its Japanese-style rental spaces and an admission-free gallery. The streets between the buildings are also decorated in an elegant Japanese style. Along the street between Coredo Muromachi 1 and 2, there are traditional paper lanterns and noren (traditional Japanese fabric dividers) curtains that gives the visitor a sense of the good old Japan. It is directly connected to the A6 entrance of Mitsukoshimae Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon and Ginza lines and the Shin-Nihonbashi Station of the JR Sobu Line (Rapid Service).
