Description
This public bathhouse reopened in April 2007 after renovations. It offers two modern bathing areas. Tsuki-no-yu has natural kuro-yu (blackish hot spring), open-air and ultrasonic baths, along with a ”comfort” sauna. Hi-no-yu has carbonated soft-water, open-air and super-jet baths, with a far-infrared sauna. The bathing areas are alternately open to men and ladies, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere on subsequent visits. Murals of Mt. Fuji — on which you can rest your eyes while soaking — are the work of a modern artist and sento specialist. A three-minute walk from Togoshi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, or a five-minute walk from Togoshi-ginza Station on the Tokyu-Ikegami Line. Togoshi Ginza shopping street is within walking distance.
