- Newly opened in February 2014, Guest House Yakushima is located in the southern part of Yakushima. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, free parking and a luggage storage service. Activities and guided tours can be arranged. Miyanoura Ferry Port is a 40-minute drive away, while Anbo Ferry Port is a 15-minute drive from the property.
- Rooms are all non-smoking rooms, and are fitted with air conditioning/heating and linen. Rooms are fitted with traditional futon bedding or bunk beds.
- At Yakushima Guest House, guests can use the shared kitchen to prepare their own meals. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator and a rice cooker. Boil-in-the-bag food, alcohol and soft drinks can also be purchased at the shared kitchen. Tableware, a communal PC and a TV can be found in the living room area.
- Yakushima Airport is a 25-minute drive away, while Tainokawa Bus Stop is a 4-minute walk away from the property. Yakusugi Land can be visited within a 55-minute drive.
