On August 1, 2022, Shirahama Onsen Eel Restaurant "Marukan" will open on the second floor of Fisherman's Wharf Shirahama! An authentic eel restaurant using domestic eel and water from the Nanki Shirahama hot springs and grilling it over charcoal has opened in Shirahama. We are particular about the grilling and the ingredients, such as eel kabayaki, shirayaki, and real wasabi from Wakayama Prefecture. You can also enjoy sea, mountain, and river cuisine, including sweetfish from the local Tomita area.
