Description
This cape is Hokkaido's northernmost point, at northern latitude 45 degrees 31′. A stone monument stands at the northernmost tip, with other monuments nearby, including one for Japanese explorer Rinzo Mamiya. Its lit-up appearance at night creates a magical atmosphere.
A 50-minute trip from Wakkanai Station on Soya Bus for Omisaki Elementary School, then a five-minute walk from Takasagodai Entrance
