Shinjuku Gyoen a spacious garden with an area of 58.3 hectares (144 acres) and a circumference of 3.5 kilometers. In 1906 it was established as an Imperial Garden and it is now managed by the Japanese government. It consists of three distinct styles: an expansive Landscape Garden, a symmetrically arranged Formal Garden, and a calm Japanese Traditional Garden. These well-designed gardens are said to be masterpiece of garden landscapes in Japan. It is a place where you can fully enjoy the scenery in every season. About 1,000 cherry trees from 65 species bloom in spring, and in autumn the fall foliage is spectacular. Shinjuku Gyoen also has a tea house where you can enjoy powdered green tea and traditional Japanese cakes. Experiencing a casual tea ceremony (for an extra fee) is one of the attractions. Admission Fee: Adults ¥500; Junior high school students and under are free. Shinjuku Gyoen is a five-minute walk from the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station (Exit No. 1) or a ten-minute walk from JR (Japan Railways) Shinjuku Station (South Exit). Note that alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the park and that use of toys and sports equipment is also prohibited in the garden.

LOVE Objet is a popular meeting place at Nishi-Shinjuku Station. It is a public artwork fronting the entrance of Shinjuku i-LAND, a skyscraper with 44 floors of offices, stores, residences and a specialty school. The famous objet, created by American artist Robert Indiana, is frequently shown on TV and is a popular meeting place for couples. It has even spawned its own subculture: one rumor says that if you can pass between the V and E without your body touching it, your romantic relationship will succeed. Shinjuku i-LAND is directly connected to Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, and an eight-minute walk from Shinjuku Station on the JR, Odakyu, Keio and Toei Shinjuku Lines.

The store comprises six above-ground and three below-ground floors, with Floors 1-3 housing Uniqlo. Uniqlo offers a large selection of seasonal fashions and the My Uniqlo section on Floor 2 allows customers to create their own original clothing items by customizing their purchases with buttons, lace, and other decorations. On the below-ground floors and Floors 4-6, you can find a wide-range of products, including the latest consumer electronics, games, daily necessities, and sports equipment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the store and there are plenty of customer services available, including a service for sending purchases to the airport. The huge Godzilla head that suddenly appeared in Kabuki-cho, Shinjuku, was established to convey the charm of the global character Godzilla when the Shinjuku Toho Building started business in April 2015. The Godzilla head placed in the outdoor terrace of the eighth floor is a life size model with a height of 12 meters. It is from the movie ”Godzilla VS Mothra” filmed in 1992, which is a film in the Godzilla series. Toho Eizo Bijutsu, the producer of the movie, made this model that weighs 80 tons with special material reinforced with fiberglass. You can see it from behind the building from Yasukuni Street, which makes you feel like a real life Godzilla has appeared in Shinjuku.If you use the hotel or cafe in the building, you will be able to see the model up close from the terrace. The Shinjuku Toho Building is a five-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station East exit, or a three-minute walk from Seibu-Shinjuku Station.
