Shirakawago Gassho-zukuri Village, a World Heritage Site, has over 100 large and small-size Gassho-zukuri buildings and is known as a village where people live and preserve the traditional lifestyle. These roofs were designed to withstand heavy snowfalls in the region, and have been a key feature of the village's architecture for over 250 years. In spring, everything comes back to life and it is the season for residents to start plowing the fields. Shirakawago gradually puts on its green coat and the spring breeze blows, with the grass growing and birds flying. In summer, new shoots emerge from the rice in front of the houses, and the entire village is a sea of green, bringing a refreshing and pleasant feeling. Next, you will visit Takayama Historical District, an old merchant town overflowing with a traditional Japanese atmosphere and perfect for a stroll! Last but not least, you can enjoy both the beautiful scenery and the hot springs of Hirayu at Hirayu no Yu, an open-air bath that is attached to the Hiray
