Enjoy a fun break during your trip to Japan and participate in this Zen meditation experience in Hiroshima. This enriching activity will take place in one of the oldest temples in Miyajima called Miyajima Misen Daihonzan Daisho-in. The beautiful surroundings of the Buddhist temple complex alone will immediately put you in a good mood. Inside the temple, you’ll be taught by a local Buddhist teacher to practice and appreciate Zen meditation properly. Later on, you’ll participate in painting an image of Buddha, which is called Shabutsu, another activity that is known to help achieve enlightenment. Once finished, you’ll go home with an feeling of calm and a new appreciation for the Japanese people!
