- Located on the shore of Lake Biwa, with the lush Hiei mountain range behind Ogoto Onsen on the west coast of Lake Biwa and a view of the vast Lake Biwa in front.
- It takes about 2 hours by train from Kansai International Airport, and there is a shuttle bus at JR Ogoto Onsen. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car using the highway. Hiei Enryakuji Temple, a World Heritage Site, can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
- 80% of the 69 guest rooms are equipped with an open-air bath, and the hot water from Ogoto Onsen is supplied to the hotel, allowing you to enjoy the view of Lake Biwa.
- The authentic kaiseki cuisine, which is presented in hassun and direction, is made with local farmers' Omi rice and the highest quality certified Omi beef for local production for local consumption.
- There are two large public baths, a women's bath where you can feel the warmth of wood, and a men's bath with a sleeping bath in the rock bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs. When you leave the public bath, you will find a courtyard with a water mirror, where you can enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the courtyard while soaking your feet in the footbath. Next to the courtyard is the after-bath library, where free coffee, juice, and popsicles are served.
