Kasugataisha Shrine MANYOU Botanical Garden
春日大社神苑 萬葉植物園
Description
This garden covers almost three hectares featuring over three hundred types of plants mentioned in the Man’yoshu. It is divided into four areas, “Manyo En,” “Gokoku no Sato,” “Tsubaki En,” and “Fuji no En”. During the wisteria season, over twenty kinds of wisteria, across roughly 200 trees, are in multicolored, full bloom. Many tourists come to see this scene.
