Book now for today
Free cancellation - 24 hours notice
- We will stroll on the trail, surrounded by historic Japanese houses that many are from Edo era (1603 – 1868). Though many of more well known post towns are now very crowded with tourists nowadays, Seki Juku is much more quiet and serene due to its location and the town was designated as an important preservation district in the 80s, therefore the entire town has been kept authentic till now.
- One of the highlight is visiting an old style inn. Upon entering, you’ll truly feel the atmosphere that welcomed the travelers back then.
- You will also visit a museum which used to be a large size house with typical structure from Edo era.
- There are several choices of restaurants that you can have a lunch on the trail. Some of the old inns are still operating as restaurants and you can enjoy local food. The other shops on the trail also are all unique on their own ways and it is certain that you will feel the traditional atmosphere of Japan wherever you visit.
