Both Ikebukuro's west and east exits of its massive station are bustling with night life hot spots, featuring countless restaurants and karaoke parlors. Ikebukuro is also a main station for various night buses and thus, there are a number of great places to have a snack and relax at while waiting for departure - we'll introduce the best ones!

"A café with amazing food" is the main concept of H. It's especially famous for its delicious pancakes which are soft and light, leaving a fluffy feeling on your tongue due to the soufflé type of dough that they're made with. The "Berry Berry Pancake" can be enjoyed for 880 yen. Apart from sweets, café H also has a lot of delicious menu items from Western-inspired cuisine, such as hash and rice, omelett rice called omurice which is especially delicious, or curry soup. The last order for food is 10:00 p.m. So head to H for a perfect evening snack.

SEGA Ikebukuro GiGO
Sega is one of Japan's biggest not only "center" but "game" itself operators, offering a massive variety of amusement facilities. This huge game center spans from one basement floor to seven floors, all filled with the latest attractions and games, from classic card games to online video games. The two top floors are dedicated to purikura, the amazing Japanese photo booths that don't only take your pictures but will let you choose from a variety of decorations, enhancements, and backgrounds. Different costumes from anime and game characters can be rented to make your photos even more fun and memorable! The game center is open until midnight.

Seijo Ishii Echika
The Ikebukuro location of Echika can be found at Tokyo Metro's Fukutoshin Line's concourse, a place crowded with all kinds of shops. Echika is a supermarket mainly to be found in Kanto that revolves around high-quality Japanese and international products, carefully selected with the highest of standards. Original brands are also available in abundance. The snacks and desserts from a company called central kitchen, which prides itself on its delicious food without any preservatives or additives, are especially popular. Echika is open until 11:00 p.m.
