Being a 50 minutes drive from Sapporo and about 30 minutes away from New Chitose Airport--lying midway between the two--we're located perfectly for a bit of snow fun right after you arrive Hokkaido or just before you leave.
SnowLand boasts an impressive size of six Tokyo Domes.
Try the banana boat pulled by a snow mobile.
You can slide down on your sled, tube, or board as many times as you like on the artificial hill.
We also rent out rubber tubes and boards, so you can visit us empty-handed.
Warm Mongolian mutton barbecue or a special hotpot made at Rurumap enjoyed inside a snow hut is a taste like no other.
We also have curry and rice, yakisoba (pan-fried noodles), spaghetti and other dishes, as well as draft beer and soft drinks.
Admission is free. Our popular activity pack (two hours, includes drinks) costs 2800 JPY for middle schoolers and higher, and 2200 JPY for children from three years old to elementary school. You can try the banana boat and rafting boat once each. Snow shoes, sledding, tubing, and boats can be used as much as you want within the time limit. It's a bargain! We also have three-hour packs.
