- What to expect
-
This is an economical plan that includes a round-trip bus ticket from the Obihiro Station bus terminal to Ikeda Station, the closest stop to the Wine Castle, as well as a 500 yen voucher for the Wine Castle store. The Wine Castle got its name because of its resemblance to a castle, and it has become a symbol of Ikeda Town. There are many attractions, such as a shop with a museum and wine-tasting samples from the wine-aging cellar. The Wine Castle also offers magnificent views of the Tokachi Plain from the restaurant on the 4th floor and the rooftop observatory.
