Overview

From the rooftop observatory terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Tokachi Plain, the Toshibetsu River, and the ridgeline of the magnificent Hidaka Mountains.
In the wine-aging cellar, you can see barrel aging, bottle aging, and a number of vintage wines that have already been shipped.
On the premises of the Wine Castle is DCTgarden IKEDA, produced by the musical group DREAMS COME TRUE, where you can see a number of valuable exhibits.

What to expect: This is an economical plan that includes a round-trip bus ticket from the Obihiro Station bus terminal to Ikeda Station, the closest stop to the Wine Castle, as well as a 500 yen voucher for the Wine Castle store. The Wine Castle got its name because of its resemblance to a castle, and it has become a symbol of Ikeda Town. There are many attractions, such as a shop with a museum and wine-tasting samples from the wine-aging cellar. The Wine Castle also offers magnificent views of the Tokachi Plain from the restaurant on the 4th floor and the rooftop observatory.
