While quantities last, the Sanrio company has released a series of “Sanrio Halloween 2016”goods, available at official Sanrio stores and online shop. The Halloween-themed items, available between September 7th and October 31st 2016, are sure to liven up any Halloween party, as well as making for a great seasonal gift.
See what Hello Kitty and friends are up to online this Halloween!
Beginning September 2nd, just prior to the release of the series, a special Halloween version of the Sanrio website debuted. Visitors to the site can find Halloween stories featuring popular Sanrio characters in comic-style, well as tweets from the characters’ Twitter accounts, as well as way to connect to the Sanrio shop.
Halloween Plush Characters and Fun Accessories
The “Sanrio Halloween 2016” lineup includes not only Hello Kitty, but My Melody, Pompompurin, and Cinnamaroll dressed in Halloween cosplay. Goods include plush characters (3,240 yen), small plush characters on a beaded chain (called a “mascot holder” in Japanese, 2,484 yen each), a tin containing sweets (540 yen), a purse containing sweets (648 yen), a mini-purse (1,944 yen) and hair accessories (scrunchies for 756 yen each, and headbands for 972 yen each) that can be worn by adults. In addition to the above-mentioned characters, the hair scrunchies will also include Gudetama, Kuromi, and Pocchaco.
The Halloween Party Tutu Set – a great costume addition for Sanrio-loving kids!
For children, a “Kids Party Tutu Skirt Set” will also be available from September 14th. The set, at a price of 4,104 yen each includes a wand and one of three frilly tutus inspired by the characters Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Pompompurin (fitting a waist size of 50-70 cm).
