As summer approaches and temperatures keep rising in the Tokyo area, a number of beer gardens have begun opening their doors. For the uninitiated, beer gardens are outdoor areas where you can enjoy a refreshing pint along with a variety of tasty foods, often with all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat options. Here we highlight three of these must-see spots that offer incredible night views you can enjoy while relaxing with a frosty mug and fun conversation with friends, family, or that special someone!
1. Odaiba: King of the Pirates
“King of the Pirates” is a fun restaurant themed around pirates in Odaiba. From May 1, it has been offering a special beer garden that overlooks Rainbow Briege and Tokyo Bay, plus a popular BBQ option. For folks looking to enjoy freshly grilled seafood and meats, the "BBQ with Beer Garden Course" (4500 yen; tax excluded) is highly recommended. If fried chicken and scrumptious sausages are more your mood, the “Beer Garden Course” (3500 yen, tax excluded) is right up your alley. Both courses include an all-you-can-drink option. But hurry: in peak season from July 1, both prices will be bumped up by 480 yen!
