Tokyo’s oldest temple, Senso-ji, stands right in the middle of Asakusa, a neighborhood that is reminiscent of old Edo and therefore a major tourist spot. Kaminarimon and its huge paper lantern mark the entrance to Nakamise-dori, a crowded street of around 250 meters that leads right up to the temple.
