Tailored after a many years' experience in the local scene, the Taste of Kyoto lets you in on a unique crawl in the streets as you discover its sensational food culture. The adventure starts as you meet up at the Karasuma Oike station where the local supermarket is located nearby. Ready your appetite as you walk towards the supermarket filled with the freshest fruits, vegetables, and other eccentric yet delicious treats organically made in Kyoto. Moving on, you will visit a tiny chocolate shop and learn about Japan's unique take on the classic chocolate recipe – you will also enjoy seeing them as an artwork! Next up is a visit to a local shop famous for its buckwheat noodles (or soba) before continuing on to a pickles shop, where you will get to see a closer look at the popular tsukemono (pickles), Japan's equivalent to Korea's kimchi. Experience a mini dessert session with the Taiyaki before walking towards Teramachi street, also known as Kyoto's haven for its variety of specialty restaurants. You will find
